Looking to purchase a few accesories and am hoping to draw on the collective experience.

First is a stand for my spotting scope. I’m running a celesteon regal 80. Should I go spotting scope stand which has the easy versatility for using prone kneeling or standing but is not good in the field.

Or should I go with a traditional Tripp’s and if so what options are there to make viable while in the prime?

Second item is I’m looking for another bipod. I’m debating between the atlas 5h, the APO LRA or the RPS bipod. Thoughts?

First item:

Just depends on how you are going to utilize it. Bench and/or prone I have a Ray Vin that is relatively small, easily adjustable and gets low. For field or comp use a tripod (many flavors) is going to provide a much wider range of adjustment, be more stable on uneven ground, etc.

Second item:

I'm an Atlas fan so if you need a "big" bipod (338/50 cal) then the 5H is it, for most use though the PRS or actually the BT10 can do it all. Sorry, can't reference the other two as, well...........................guilty of being an Atlas fanboy.
