Hi experts.
I just picked up my first large bore bolt gun, a rem 700 sps varmit in 308 and was looking to put a scope on it. From all of the info here and demigodllc and looks like the scope to get in my price range ($300) is the super scope. I'm trying to decide between the 10x and the 16x and thought I'd ask you all. I will use it for punching paper from 100 - 600 yards and the occasional practical rifle sniper match ranging about the same.
Any thoughts? And any suggestions on what rings/rails to get to mount it?

Thanks!

Re: Help with ss scope

10x for sure, the guy right above me can supply everything needed, I would get a Bagder 20moa rail, and low Badger rings, but if those are out of your price range EGW one piece 20moa rail and Burris low tactical rings, welcome to snipershide.

Have to agree on the 10x. Got mine sighted in yesterday, hitting 6" round gongs at 300 yards with ease. Great field of view, great clarity, well worth every penny spent. Got mine set up on Mounting Solutions base 0 moa, picked up from Brownells. Its clamped down in a set Burris XTR low rings. Can't go wrong buying one. Just do it man, do it.
