I think he's absolutely right. We need to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and in the hands of lawful citizens...
I do wonder how many people in NYC died from misprescribed medicines, car accidents, cigarettes, heart attacks brought on by obesity, suicides etc. But then, those deaths don't go with a bang...

Yes...all the fault lies with a weapon itself or other physical objects and not the actions of a criminal.
