Hey you guys, as you can tell I'm new to the place but not new to forums. I like the way they work and I've read off this one for far to long not to have been apart of it! I just got back from Afghanistan and dropped some serious money into my newest addition to the family my scar 17s, in fact I chose the Optics using this forum in conjunction with a few others. I picked up a nice IOR valdada 3.5-18x50. Looking forward to reading and contributing to the forum!

If you get near Orlando/Daytona, check out VCGHC. It's a private club, but they run matches where public is welcome if they qualify. Currently only positions out to 1200 but working on 1600 and 1 mile positions.

Gunner - I'm in Naples - another hour or so south of you. We are hurting for any long distance ranges around here - Manatee is it. I have to travel 1-1.5 hr. just to get to a 100 yd range.
Port Malabar is a good 600 yd range on the east coast, but it's a 4 hour drive.

Blair I've been going to Cecil Webb forever, I just want to really reach out you know lol! 200 just isn't enough!

You do know of Cecil Webb I hope? It's off of tucker's grade in North Fort Myers. It's a nice place for AR pistol and Shotgun. Busy on the weekend dead during the week.

Oh, yes - I know of Webb - It's about 1 hr and 20 min for me, used to shoot there quite a bit- still do out to 200 on occasion - it can be a bit dangerous at times, but it's a nice range !

Thats why I like to go on the week days no one's there! That and I just like shooting further than. 100
