Hey Guysneck resizing only

Hey Guys
I am wonder if anyone neck resizes 306 only, and will 30 cal neck resizers work on both 308 and 3006?

Yes. I transfer the bushings between .30-06 and .308 dies, if that is what you are asking.

Or you should be able to neck size -06 in the .308 neck die, but would not be able to neck size the .308 in the -06 die because the case would be too short to reach up to the sizing portion of the die.

As jetlagged says. You'll also have to adjust the decapping rod down to punch the '06 primers out. The problem that exists is the .308 die doesn't fit the body of the '06 because of the differing tapers of the case. It is possible that you may induce concentricity issues by doing so. If that is not a problem in the type of shooting you do...minute of deer or so...then that will work ok. If you wish to do so, saving money being the operative here, I suppose, just buy a .308 die neck die. Actually...you'll be money ahead from buying two Lee collet neck sizers, one in .308 and one in '06. Plus the accuracy of the alignment won't suffer.

That was what i was asking can use a neck resizer on both cals.
