I know there is a term for how deep a ship runs, but can't remember it. I want to say "draw", but I have to be sure. Any one of you squids throw me a line?

Draft is the amount of ship underneath the water.
Freeboard is distance from the waterline to the weatherdeck
Then there is list, heel, roll, pitch, yaw...

Not to be confused with Draught, which we all like to get in a nice pint glass, but it still doesn't pack th epunch of the old daily ration of rum for the grog when you are on top of the draft
