Cooked meat is responsible for mans brain growing into a powerhouse. Without it we would still live in caves and mud huts.

I live in eastern NC and our bbq is pretty damn famous. Once you cross into Wayne county out of Wilson county, the bbq changes. I cook pigs quite often. The 80-100 lb range is the best tasting. When Phil Velayo came and stayed with me for a match, I took him to a staple bbq place and I think he pitched a tent in his britches after taking his first bite of bbq.
There is not a lot here. Most people like me that crave BBQ; do it themselves. There are a few of us that have smokers and rely on the taste of the meat versus a lot of thick, goopy and sweet sauce.
NC BBQ is awesome. I love the taste and I love the simple vinegar based sauce...pure genius
The Soy stuff will give you cancer if you are a woman and then turn you into a lady boy if you are a man.

Fake vegan chicken, Fake vegan pork....
Given that it's all pretend anyway, why not simulate more exotic flesh?
