Hi all,

Been signed up for a bit and reading a bunch. I love online forums as a learning place when getting into a new hobby. No exception here, there is a tremendous wealth of information.


I am looking at getting into some longer range shooting. I have been hunting/shooting for a few decades, but haven't really gotten into precision style/long range stuff at all.

One question and big hurdle that I have run into: Does anyone know of any long range ranges in the SE MN area? I have been able to find out to about 300 yards max so far, not exactly long range by the standards around here. Anyhow, thanks in advance for all the help and thanks for the help I have already received in getting started by you all sharing your knowledge here.

These are two of the main Precision Rifle oriented ranges in Minnesota. Sorry neither is close to you... There are plenty of folks in your area that are involved though.

How far is it to Lodi, Wi from where you are?
There is a beautiful range there.

Thanks for the range info guys. Lodi is about 3-3.5 hours away. My home town is actually near New York Mills, so I might be able to get there when I visit my parents at home. That is great.
