Sorta new to the site, I've been reading and learning for the past several weeks now and I like what I see.
Anyway, I decided after much debate to get into long range shooting...the gear cost and time shooting to get somewhat proficient was my concern between my other hobbies and full time job. But as the saying goes "You only live once". I've been looking for the past several month's on my platform of choice...Ruger/Bergara/Mossberg/Savage/and Tikka, just to name a few...all in 6.5 cm, the selection was overwhelming to say the least.
I choose the Tikka T3x Tac A1 based on comments from friends experiences and what I've read, I also picked up the Vortex Viper PST II 5-25x50 FFP ebr-7c MRAD. I also picked up 5 different loads to see what shoots...primarily Hornady's/Berger's. Just received the scope/mount on tuesday, put it on the gun and did a preliminary site in...just waiting for a break to get something on paper soon at the range.
Thanks for offering an awesome site for newbie's to learn from...Mahalo Nui Loa!
