I was left this by my cousin that passed a few years ago. Anyone seen this heavy barrel before? Vintage late 1970's?

definitely a nice rig!...makes my old '46 beater....look like a really old beater.

Ooops!...I didn't see you stated Supermatic Citation. Sorry. Mine's an old H-D Military, but still shoots great. I doubt if I could win any serious competition with it.</span>

Your cousin had excellent taste. IMHO.....The Military grip High Standards are the Cadillac of .22 target pistols. Your barrel is of a more recent vintage than the pistol, but of well regarded quality and I'll bet it is a tackdriver with the 2X Leupold. The quick change feature makes for lots of interesting options.

Is that barrel aluminum shrouded? I'm thinking that may be an aftermarket barrel manufactured by Falcon. If it is, that'll be a shooting MF.

Thanks, wasn't aware LSP was making one like that.

Years back when I was shooting Bullseye heavy I had Lou at Falcon make me a HS barrel that looked exactly like what you have there.
