I’ll just be blunt. I didn’t know this much until I started looking at the presidency, how well-positioned African-Americans are to determine who the nominee is for the Democratic Party. I didn’t realize that from Maryland to Mississippi, African-Americans range from 40 to 70 percent of the primary electorate.

1. Unless he's referencing ONLY Democratic voters. But I'd still be doubtful.

2. Voting fraud is that huge in that beltway that there actually are those numbers registered. Again, it doesn't pass the US Census population 'test'.

Sounds like he's reaching and trying to 'scare' candidates into kowtowing to the black vote in a desperate attempt to make them seem more powerful than they really are.

For awhile now I've been trying to figure out how the "Black Vote" really effects election outcomes due to the sheer lack of populace. And that's assuming ALL blacks vote Democrat, which they clearly don't. Makes me wonder a bit more about #2 above.
