i think i might hold off on the gsg-5 untill the reviews start comming in, the mp5sd tickels my fancy.

also was reading they are going to make an hk mp-7 and if it has the stock like the factory one then i will have to get that two

Uhhh heres a little hint .... go pick up a colt 22lr.... and feel how shitty it is .... then you will know what the HK ones will be like ... they are going to be produced by Ultramex or some spelling like that. They produced the Colt 22's as well ... pieces of fucking shit.

I can say what ever 22lr system you buy (shitty or not) it will be worth the money

the other day I went and ran a few guys through a some of the SFAUC tables

it cost about $25 for ammo

it normally would have cost about 500 in 5.56 per guy

while i must say there is no replacement for actually using the exact same set up as you would in combat...

the money saved the first 3-4 hrs of training more than paid for the MP15-22

i highly suggest every tactical shooter get one... indispensable training tool IMO

i looked at the GSG ...but i like having an AR platform as it more closely replicates what i'm going to use as the muscle memory is reinforced

Umarex primarily makes airsoft guns.
A S&W, Sig 522, or dedicated .22 upper on your duty AR would be a better firearm.

well all i can say is if hk stands behind it, well then it must be good.

i cannot speek for colt, i have seen the s&w 22lr and i think its plastic junk.

i shot the sig and it is pretty good, befor i get a gsg ill just wait and see what the reviews are on it

i like the mp5sd look with the integral can, gemtech was suppossed to be comming out with the suppressed version but don't think they ever did.

Hk sued hardworking americans ( ATi) just so that HK could make .22mp5's, I would not support their company, I was going to pick up a Usp, not anymore. FUk em. even though they changed the GSG into a fugly little basterd id still rather have one then support Hk.

I'm not sure what you mean, the gsg5 is barely going to change due to the lawsuit with H&K.

I have a GSG5SD and it runs like a top after a few hundred round break in. Tons of fun to shoot.

I think there were MP-5 .22 conversions made.
I have a .22 kit for an HK-91, though whether it works in full auto, I have no idea.

New word on the street is that the MP7 is on the backburner. Also, since HK has their name stamped all over it, quality is said to be pretty good compared to the Colt .22's. And as for price, it is said to be competitive with the GSG5 series. However, like everything, you pay for quality.

Buddy of mine has 2 22lr kits that he has put into a couple of HK guns and they rock and roll with his sear ...... its quite fun to do a mag dump of 22 and it never moves due to the weight of the gun.

I have umarex/colt 22 and it works just fine. It is not as shitty as most people think. But it is not accurate as most rimfires.

It feeds just right when you adjust it.

your fine man, you dont bother me.... i will put my money where my mouth is but i have been shooting and testing loads that have not had the brass trimmed, if iam going to shoot the sh thing you sent me i wanna cut all the varibles out so i dont fuck the groups up.

Yeah HK sued someone that copied their design. I got no issues with that at all. I love the hypocritical attitude. All this Chinon knock off crap, when Americans do it, you get pissed off ?

I support local made in USA business. But when we stoop to the level of knocking off other products, are we not better than they are ?

ATI is only the U.S. importer. GSG http://www.gsg-waffen.de/site/index.php?...=62&lang=en is the designer and manufacturer of the carbine.

If you have an AR already, I would skip the cheaply made HK look a likes and buy a Spikes Tactical or Tactical Solutions upper receiver.

I talked to them a couple weeks ago and they said they'll only be doing the ONE batch of about 1K and that's that. He said he thinks this summer.

Keep an eye if you want cause once there gone, there gone!
