what are you guys using on the HK USPs and Sig P220 and P226? I have heard that there can be problems running cans on these . . . that the threading on the barrels is too long and can cause the pistols not to cycle properly. I was considering a Gemtech or Silencerco, but now im not so sure

I use a Osprey45 on my Sig226 and havent had any issues. I know a guy running a p220 threaded barrel on a p227 with no issues as well. (same can)

9 and 45Ospreys, 9 and 45 Tirants, and the 9 and 45 Octanes should give you zero problems

I have a DeGroat Tactical Mk99 on my 226 9mm. Got it in 2010. Has been flawless in operation with subs and full power ammo. I got a 13.5x1.0 barrel from TopGun supply which has also performed flawlessly. Hth.

I have ran a TiRant45 on all of the above without any issues.

Wow. The SWR Octane 45 comes apart for cleaning. Didn't know that. Is that any reason to pick it over the Osprey?

i believe the octane has a lower FRP because it is not a monocore like the osprey. plus, when it gets all gunky, you can clean it. where as the osprey, not so much.
