HK417 upgrade stuff, opinions please?

Hi

I made some upgradestuff for HK417 with new lower reciver for MAGPUL mags, with ambidextreus magrelease, non rotating pins and integral sling attachment.
Forend is 32% lighter and have our typical interfaces on the side to save weight.
YES, its machined in one piece without extrusions.....

Any opinions? anything you feel that I have missed?

the one HK I've laid my hands on blew me away. I couldn't believe the craftsmanship. The more I looked at little details I was just amazed.

the HK 416 or the 417 is not widely available around here much.
Very good looking work though.

Looks great. I have to say I have a bad taste in my mouth with HK. Couldn't find parts and no customer service. Thats why I sold my sear pack and all the host I had for it!! Loved them just no parts!! GYZ

Downsize this part for the 416 and you'll make more friends out here in the states. The 417 has a small following, not overly available and pricey, although it has gotten more reasonable lately.

What is the rail by the mag well used for?
