Swapped this upper with a different lower and it cycles properly.
Placed a different upper on the grey lower and the issue remains. So its caused by the grey lower.

Cycled the slide and dry fired about 20 times and slide seems to be working fine now. Maybe it just needed to get broken in

I had something very similar happen to my P80. Could be left over shavings or debris inside the slide. Pull the striker and blow the hole out.
