Hunting & Fishing Hog Hunting

Wondering if there are any guys on the forum that run dogs on hogs in GA. Trying to link up with a few guys for some hunting and may be gettin rid of a few good dogs to cut back on feeding cost. Anyone that dogs them or does some long range plinking on hogs, let me know.

Chad-do you have access to the hog hunter magazine?It's loaded with hunting guides and has a pretty good listing for hog dogs.It focuses mainly on the southern states with good hog populations.

I currently have land to hunt, 4 different hunt clubs plus property we own. I run my own dogs with a group of close buddies and we are always looking for a new place/people to hunt with. I'd like to sell a few dogs to cut back on feeding cost, not purchase any new ones. I'm not looking to pay for a guide service as I am my own guide when it comes to running hogs with dogs, just people around the GA area that also run dogs to hunt with.

Do you know about the Georgia Outdoor News (GON) website? Check in the forums portion. I bet you would have some luck finding someone with a place there once deer season goes out.
