As POF and GAP are using the Hogan guns upper/lowers..i was wondering if anyone has had experiences with a full AR10 platform Hogan guns?

I have one that has POF on it,but was bought from HOGAN and I also got the Hogan drop in trigger,DPMS SASS 18"barrel, Miculek brake,PRS stock,Super Sniper glass, and it is a BEAST.

My shooting partner got an 18" Hogan .308, put some nice glass on it and put some FGMM through it. Got nice .5 groups at the range and two deer at good distances when he took it hunting.
I'm shooting a Les Baer monolith with a Geisele two stage match trigger. About the only thing I'd change on the Hogan would be the trigger (to a single or two stage Geisele depending on intended use)

AR platform gas guns are not rocket science. As long as it has a good barrel connected to a good free float rail, and has a good trigger you are off to a good start. For what it is worth the trigger in my GAP-10 is marked Hogan.

Looks like the Hogan is stepping up. The only thing i was noticing on their platform that would have to be changed right off will be the stock then
buying hogan would allow for those people that want a continuous top rail
rather than the non contiguous top rail

No, it is a gas piston rifle.
They are meaning that it has a 3-position has plug allowing for it to be gas operated normally, gas suppressed, or the gas shut off entirely which will allow the rifle to be operated like a bolt gun. The POF has the some functionality.

I want to take the time to let you know how incredible this rifle is. I have an 18" .308 with full tactical rails that I received a few days before I deployed. With that, i only took it to the range twice and have only so many photos. From the two days of shooting I can tell you that this gun is incredibly accurate and the recoil is quite low for a .308. The first day I spent breaking in the barrel and zeroing the rifle to my different optics. The second day, I put targets out to different ranges, and did some quick 50 yard target acquisition shooting while standing. Where the dot or reticle is pointed is where the round hit. I was shooting Federal Premium 168 grain Sierra Match-king BTHP. I cannot wait to get back and shoot out to 500-100 yards. The gun is worth the buy.

They ship the gun in a case, however not the one shown in my picture. The case the gun comes in is not airline travel worthy so I bought another case. It also comes with a CD with the manual on it but I would rather have a book. I inspected the gun at the shop before I took it home and it was spotless.
