What is the consensus for a reticle for holdovers? SCR2 or SCR2 1/4 mil?

My other scopes, S&B, ZCO, all have .2 mil hashmarks, but I'm reading that some people prefer the less clutter of the 1/4?

Thanks...

I personally prefer 0.25 mil reticle for the simple reason that 0.25 and 0.5mils seems to be about 80% of the 1moa/0.3mil and 2moa/0.6mil plate sizes we commonly see so it makes correcting for misses pretty easy for me.

But as stated above, it really truly is personal preference. You almost have to go look through them or figure out a way to borrow one of them.

some like 'less clutter' some like .2 and some like .5 or even 1

it doesn't matter what anyone else uses but what works for you
The people who keep asking others what to do or use never learn anything

Are you really that good that such an infinitesimal difference would matter?
