I've been searching off and on for a hip holster or horizontal shoulder holster for my scoped Ruger MKII slabside. The only thing I can find is the bulky Uncle Mikes cordura holsters. I'd like something more form fitting to the pistol, preferrably leather or Kydex and possibly something with an extra mag pouch. Anybody seen anything out there that fits the bill? I may be able to get something custom, just prefer to save and go with manufactured if I can find it. Here's a picture of the pistol if that helps.

Thanks,

Blackhawk makes one that should work, but I don't recall if it has a mag pouch attached or not. It is called their Bandolier Scoped Pistol Holster. I am sure they have it on their site if you run a search...they also have a hoslter fit guide that will tell you which specific model will best fit your setup.

Thanks for the link ORD, I hadn't thought of BH. I checked out the bandolier, kind of like the Uncle Mikes. I have a Bianchi for my TC Contender pistol similar to it. Not very user friendly to me. May have to have the Mennonites at the local harness shop try and make something for me. I love the Hunter model 1111, I just don't see a scoped version. The last holster I converted for scoped went to the trash can, LOL. The quest continues.

The actually have the bandolier and another scoped holster...but the Bandolier is likely the one that will work with a scope Ruger MkII or MkIII. Here is a link to both:
