Just for S&G here's a few pictures of a MONO-POD I made last Sunday for my MA-TEN build(if I ever get the rest of my parts,lol). It's fully adjustable up and down and folds up under the stock with thumb screws to lock it in place. Took about 6.5 hours total time. I think it's pretty good for a nitwit,lol.
I started with 1.25" and 1.0" Aluminum round stock. I had to make my own Knurling tool because I couldn't find one locally and was to whiny to wait for one to be delivered,lol. I used an old scope ring to make the mounting out of and the brass bit on the "foot" is a flange fitting I got at Lowe's threaded into the bottom just for GP. I'll probably paint it Black or FDE to match the MAGPUL furniture.
