Anyone got any info on a starting point for this bullet? I have 8208XBR, IMR 4064, and Varget, will these work to start a load development, or would RL17 be a little better. I will be using 308 LC LR 2009 brass, CCI BR2's. Any info is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Josh

Wow. I haven't seen this bullet yet. What is the B.C.? I have been running 46.5gr Alliant 2000mr in Fed brass pushing the Nosler 190gr CC. I also push the Hornady 208gr Hpbt to bang steel at 1300yds, with 47gr 2000mr, but in the roomier Winchester brass. These loads are in uncharted territory, and near, if not over max. They shoot with no pressures signs in most conditions, but I watch them close in 90+degF. If you have RL17, I would start there. Alliant says 48.7gr for a 180gr BTSP, so if it were me, I would fish for nodes starting at 45.5-46gr, or maybe just below that since you are using thick L.C. brass.
