Has any body used these yet?

http://www.hornady.com/store/308-Win-125-gr-SST-customlite/

I'm thinking these might be good little round for thumping coyotes this winter. I'm still using factory loads at the moment because I'm not set up to reload yet. Just wanted to know if any body had any experience with them. Any idea what twist rate would work best with such a light round?

If this is the wrong place please move it where necessary.
Thanks!

Re: Hornady 308

I havent shot those but the 150 SSTs have worked real well for me on coyotes hogs and deer. I wouldn't worry about test rate for bullets that light. If you optimize your barrel twist for that you'll severely limit your ability to shoot heavier bullets.

I shoot 168's now, was just wondering if the twist i have now will handle those lighter bullets okay. Believe me, there won't be any equipment changes to make my rifle match a certain bullet weight.

Re: Hornady 308

I just came from the range friday where I shot Hornady TAP FPD 155 and they worked well. I have a savage 10fp with 26" 1-10 factory barrel and my best group was a 3 shot group at .4, maybe slightly less. I would post the picture but dont know how to get if from my iphone to here. Hornady makes some real quality ammo.
