In a capitalist state, price is always what the market will bear. They see people paying $4 a bullet, why not increase their profits? That’s what business is about. Can’t be a capitalist and want socialism, at the same time.

same can be said for the housing market, its hot right now for sellers. So, why not sell your house for what you gave for it and not what someone will pay? Or are you trying to have it both ways?

I totally understand the system we live in, for me there is a point where I just don’t buy anymore until the prices are what I consider worth the product. When everyone reaches that point, then prices come back down. I was mainly curious if Midway was raising prices because of the market or because they were being charged more. The last big shortage we had their prices didn’t increase where some places like Sportsman’s Guide doubled and tripled their prices on things that others were not.

Places have to raise prices if they have bills to pay each month. There’s no guarantees when resupply is coming. Until supply catches demand, prices will be higher.
