Just started reloading for 6.5CM. Is it necessary to champfer the flashholes on the inside of this brass? I usually use Lapua and haven't had a need to do it.

I do, and I would say yes to that! Lapua is the only Mfg that I am aware of that drills the primer flash holes!
For consistancy I do all my brass.

I don't in my Creedmoor brass or any brass. I used to years ago then started testing it against non chamfered flash holes and found no difference in accuracy so I don't waste the time anymore.
