Hornady cam lock case trimmer

Hi everyone. Kinda new to rifle reloading. I have done a ton of pistol though. Bought the hornady trimmer 20 cases in and snap theregoes the handle any one else had an issue like this?

And you can see crappy pot metal that's hollow and got my hand pretty good a lot deeper than it looks

I contacted hornady said they will shipp a new handle but kinda think it will happen again. O and there are send a free poster for my troubles jezz.

I've trimmed thousands of cases with it. You just have to keep in mind that it indexes of the shoulder of the case, so it doesn't work as well if you neck size only, and you need to adjust it between trimming new and fired cases because your shoulder has likely moved.

I have a 3 way on it and is cut down perfectly to 2.006. After resized in dillan carbide die fl. It's for a ar10 with proof research barrel

Since you have the lathe already and since youve already invested in a three way trimmer the only thing left is a power adapter to avoid having to crank it altogether, just pull the drill trigger.

Not really necessary. It only takes about 3 turns to trim
