Has anyone used one of Hornadys gauges side-by-side with a more conventional concentricity gauge?
(One that supports the CASE & measures run-out of the bullet in relation to the case)
It seems to me that supporting the meplat of the bullet and taking a measurement 3/4” from your support is likely masking true total run-out.
This is all fine & well, but I’ve seen a few reloading product reviews that evaluate the quality of dies/presses with this gauge and think it’s misleading, and possibly intentional.
