Hornady FMJ-BT 150 gr

Anyone ever shoot these. I'm looking for a good bullet that won't expand too much. Mainly for coyotes and I don't want huge holes in the hides. Also for deer. Shooting a 308.

well, they definately won't expand, but that's not to say they won't make some huge holes. Velocity alone can do this, even if the bullet doesn't expand at all.

Might want to check your local/state Fish & Game laws regarding FMJs on deer, too. Illegal in many states, as they're not nearly so likely to give a good, clean kill as a proper expanding bullet.

Thanks. Just talked to my smith and he said the same thing. Gonna try some 155 bergers.

if your set on a 155, try the Amax.
