I tried to set up my LnL for progressive .223 loading, but the powder kept bridging in the drop tube. Is this common or did I set it up incorrectly? Any tips are welcome.

I've loaded probably in the neighborhood of 2k+ .223 and at least that many .308 using Varget with little powder drop trouble in my LnL.
Are you sure you have the correct drop tube, rotor, insert installed?

Which drop tube are you using?
I am not sure I am using the correct one.
I am using the stock rotor and insert.

When I get home tonight I'll take a look at what I have, press is set up right now for the last of a big 9mm run so it should be pretty easy to see what ISN'T in the LnL.
What inserts. rotors etc. do you have?

YES!!this is the exact problem I have with Varget - bridging causing powder to be dumped every where calling for a 5 minute cleanup only to have this happen a few rounds later - this is my whole reason for trying to get ball powders to shoot - which has not worked - I am going to try R-15 (a much smaller stick powder, apparently) hopefully it works out
I am using the correct supplied small funnel type insert on the LNL powder measure for a .22 neck
I have never had a problem dispensing varget when loading 7.62 as the large LNL funnel insert does not cause bridging - big difference in the small and large insert - at least when varget is concerned
do let me know how you remedy this problem - all I have tried is to switch to finer powders - I will not relent to manually charging 223. I only do that on my LR rifle

Did you clean the factory oil off of your drop tubes before using? Just checking.

All the components that come into contact with the powder have to be clean and DRY. Hornady One Shot says it is a dry lube, but no go for the powder measure. I cleaned again and went with the Remington dry lube spray, and no issues so far.

I keep a can of non chlorinated brake cleaner handy to clean any new dies, powder drop parts. I use one shot on the exterior of these parts after cleaning. For the powder drop the powder itself will act as a dry lube on the internals. I just spray one shot on the exterior of the rotor, and especially where you adjust it as you will get surface rust where ever you touch it. That is why Hornady coats all the hardware in oil for storing, and shipping.
After taking apart the powder drop, and spraying down the rotor assembly, and tubes my drop was good to go.

OK, sorry for the delay. I cleaned it all up with carb cleaner, sprayed it with a dry film lube and then noticed the powder drop tube was upside down! It works like a charm now. Varget fills them cases pretty full, though...

I know I arrived at the party a little late but I'd like to add a comment. Not only do all components need to be clean and DRY where the powder flow but nice and shiny helps too. Polish any piece the powder flows over and it will tend to bridge less or stick.
Also, relying on the stock powder baffles can be a problem too. I've made baffles from aluminum roof flashing for my measures and they help immensely.
Google "Uncle Nick's Powder Baffle Templates" and download the PDF. He's got a pattern for just about every diameter of powder reservoir. He also recommends two baffles oriented with the holes 90 degrees apart to relieve the pressure of the powder stack.
