This is just an FYI. I have had problems finding modified cases by Hornady in .338 and .260 so I decided to make my own. Easy enough if you have the correct tools and guidance.
Anyone thinking of making their own modified cases for the Hornady OAL case gauge (great tool) DO NOT USE a 5/16 32 tap! There a plenty of threads out there where people talk about using that 32 thread pitch. It's bunk and will waste your time, yes I found out the hard way. The correct thread pitch and tap is 5/16 36. Once again USE 5/16 36 people. Just trying to save you guys some time.
