Overpriced.
In my opinion, the best ballistic program for use in the field by a military or LE sniper is Field Firing Solutions.

My second choice would be Ballistic FTE running on an Iphone or an Itouch.
And Exbal running on a Pocket P.C. is good.

I have the older ATRAG MP chip and then went it got a new MX chip and it never worked and no one ever responded to me to get it fixed. I tried to call, email, had others speak on my behalf and still have a worthless chip.
There CS is almost non-existent and in this case I needed it out of the box as the chip never worked.
FFS and LB3 are the two best I have found, followed by the Apps and then NF Exbal round out my recommendations.
In fact I spoke with Gus at Patagonia who makes LB3 and he did a new update that fits the needs of the tactical shooter a bit better now. Not to mention his output data is very, very good. I will post some screen shots shortly.

Thought that FFS was not going to continue support for the TDS Recon?

They're not, because the program is now distributed only on an SD card, and the Recon has no SD card slot. The TDS Nomad does, though, and the program runs fine on it.

Hugh,
I haven't spoken to Blaine from Lex Talus I would guess that is only because the TDS Recon doesn't have a slot for the SD card and the Delta 5 and Tactical Editions use an SD chip... so in context there wouldn't be support for the FFS because it's being put out on a chip. Just a guess though

If you're referring to FFS and you don't need a full milspec field package, it runs fine on my HP iPAQ 111 Classic. AND you can play solitaire while you're waiting to shoot...

I use an iPaq as well for all of them, we have a TDS recon but I use my iPaq 211 more often than the TDS Recon

Horus has a reputation for not answering the phone or emails when they smell trouble. I sent my scope in for repair in 2006.
