Is a given horus reticle, say the H58, going to have the same line thickness in scopes from different manufacturers? Seems like the one I have is pretty thick at 25x, but I never hear this complaint on threads. I found the manual from Horus that shows the line thickness, but mine appears to be even thicker and I'm thinking it may be because its an 8x zoom lens.

On some of the higher power scopes it can look a little bigger, but they all do in FFP. H59s in my Bushnell's and Leupolds are the same near as i can tell on like powers. Havent noticed a difference in the S&Bs that i have ran in the past.

The line thickness should be the same, as in it covers .05 (probably not the correct amount) mil at all powers. It looks thicker at higher powers, but at 8x it should cover .05 mil and at 25x it should still cover .05 mil.

My partner runs an H37 in a USO 5-25 and I run the H37 in a USO 3.2-17. When we set the power to 17x on each, they look the same. When he goes up to 25x, it just *looks* thicker on his.
