Saw one today...nice B&C stock, nice weight with fluted SS barrel. Price was 1000, so how do they shoot and do they have any resale? Seemed like a nice lightweight huntn rifle with a good Swaro or Zeiss scope.

If it is in factory standard trim, that sounds like one of the new models with the Bell & Carlson stock and the new trigger. I havent shot one but have heard good things about them and most seem to shoot pretty good for an out of the box sporter. I love the CRF model 70s and their counterpart FN actions. I have three of them and wont be using anything else until I can afford to get an AI.

They are nice rifles. The only one I am personally familiar with was a 270 WSM. If you let the barrel completely cool between shots you could expect 1 - 1 1/2" 3 shot groups. Otherwise it was 3-5" vertically strung groups which we attributed to stress in the lt fluted barrel.

I have one in .30-06 with a Zeiss Conquest 3.5-10x44 scope. It shoots to <0.75" at 100 yards with my match loads (47.0 gr IMR 4895 under a 168gr SMK with CCI BR2 primers) and <1" with my hand loads using Barnes 168gr TTSX. It has been consistent and totally reliable. I may pick up another one in .25-06 in the near future.

I purchased one in 325 WSM. The reputation of the rifles made in Utah is very high. The scope mount from Near Mfg. came in recently, after waiting 3 months. I have not shot it yet, but expect sub MOA accuracy.

The stock is excellent, the workmanship impressive.

Saw one in 30-06 hitting the 12x12" plate with ease at 800. Was using the Hornady match ammunition. Not the intent of this rifle but very accurate.
