How did he know

All those Jews who voted for Hitler regretted it. Same will go for most of the actual people who voted Biden.
The Fuckwits that voted for Biden are to stupid and brainwashed to see what's happening . It's ;
Trump's fault.
Old White Conservatives fault .
It's parents at School Board meetings .
It's Jan 6.
( Add your bullshit here )

It's like those fuckin Mad Libs from when I was a kid . They would have a printed story or scenario and leave lines blank . You filled in the word or line with silly funny shit . Only today the shit is fucked up and evil . We are being punked by Satan .

I think you guys that either can’t or won’t acknowledge the uniparty are just as brainwashed and/or gullible as any. Neither party represents the people and hasn’t for well beyond any of our lifetimes. Any man voting for hand selected “candidates” in fake as fuck elections are fools. I used to be one until I started paying attention.

'W'? You mean President Dickless Cheney who maneuvered his bumbling fool Boy George into starting a war to profit Haliburton.

That W?
Team red. Just like it doesn’t matter what stuffed blue shirt is in office now, it didn’t matter what stuffed red shirt was in office then. The problem is the size and scope of gov, regardless of uniform. And it won’t start changing unless the Washington bloat is deflated

Every time someone says that the south lost the civil war I have to correct them. We the people lost the civil war. It was a giant power grab by the federal government. It didn't start there but it sealed the deal

You Are most likely not aware, but I calibrate wilkes birthday every year. Too bad he was a year late getting it done.

So apparently Trump was calling around to get folks to vote for McCarthy...

About the whole thing being one big show...

Trump was the excuse the Global Elites needed to not just get the public to accept full on 1984 style ministry of truth but to beg and plead for it and rejoice like crazy when they got it and do their daily 2 minutes of hate against anyone not on board with newspeak and newthink.
Trump was the excuse for half the country to decide to be fine with knowing our elections are a farce just so long as "the right outcome" is ensured.

I know it's heresy to even suggest it, but you know the whole Trump thing might not have been all that much of a "surprise" to the Global Elites...

Actually, that theory floats in the back of my mind. Trump was the one to back the bump stock ban and thought we should "seize guns first, worry about due process later." And he said he removed the personal mandate from the ACA. That is not true, you will still get your refund adjusted by the IRS for not dealing with the insurance question. So, in my book, that is not removing the mandate. However, he did rattle cages and show all the dirty crap going on.

And I like what he did for business and the cost of fuel.

How much of it is just theater and, like you said, something that either distracts you or makes you decide the government needs to someting about this or that thing?

Yes they did. That's why no one was charged with a crime when it was over. It was very much constitutional at the time.

As a southerner whose family settled here in 1640, and considers himself an American before a southerner, I disagree. The states made a commitment to the union, thats a contract. South broke the contract, and he enforced it.

We'd never have become the nation we became if he hadnt. Likely speaking German, or Russian. The world would be a very different place, and likely not for the better.

Thats not to say there isnt a shit show happening as well.

Fucked if you do, fucked if you dont. Its been an interesting experiment.

This is a terrible take.

Short answer is; the constitution doesn’t prohibit a state from seceding so the federal gov doesn’t technically have any recourse if the people of a state choose to leave the union

Long answer; Reading Brion McClanahan articles about it. Here’s one but there are several more on his site

I’ve been saying this since election night. Trump was playing us all along. Good cop- bad cop, Overton Window, how ever you want to label it. Man will not save you.

Sympathizer!!
I could go on and on about how you are wrong. But that would be a waste of time. The information is there for you. You can find it if you wish. It's not any different than what is going on now. One side gets to write the history book. If you choose to believe what they say are the facts. Only you can find the truth.

Was it the debilitating mental decline? But seriously for all those on the right who like to criticize Biden for being senile, everyone familiar with Reagan at the end of his last couple years in office have indicated he didn't know where he was either.

I too am a southerner, descended from the Lees of Virginia. Secession is a Constitutional, last ditch response to save the State, from a deranged federal system. Secession should be exercised with caution and responsibility. I say the Founding Fathers regarded the State as higher in value than the Union. They knew the dangers of a national government. Lincoln fucked up.

I must say that I agree with the notion that Lincoln was a person favor of a strong central government. Some say that he saved the Union with that belief. The civil war was not about whether or not we keep slaves and yeah, I will give him some credit for the Emancipation Proclamation but what is unknown is that many southerners always wanted to get rid of slavery mainly because of economics. It was hard to find work with slaves being used. Without slavery, everyone could compete for jobs, as it should be.

We have some relation to the Lee's as well. Maybe we're distant cousins far removed. He may have been a good man but not a great general. Invading the north with 55,000 men was a fool's errand.

I dodnt disagree with your statement about the founder's thoughts.

Rather than rehash that which has ben rehashed ad infinitum, Ill ask this, and of course the answer can only be speculated:

Had Lincoln not brought the union back together, where would we be now. IMHO, some agressive nation would have moved on the south which could not have defended itself. Then the north would have had to come bail it our because they didnt want a foreign nation that close. Monroe Doctrine.

Could we, divided, have defeated the Axis?

I think the secession would have been temporary. I would like to think there would have been negotiations and a reunification. Obviously, slavery had to go. I would like to believe that it would have been phased out, with a plan to introduce former slaves and their offspring, into freedom and productive society.

As for being vulnerable, the nation was most vulnerable, immediately after the Civil War, but Britain and France did not take advantage of the situation, as they would have likely immediately gone to war with each other. Who knows how it would have ended up, in January, 2023, if secession had been honored.

If you're kin to the Lees, then we probably are distantly related. My family has been in Louisiana, since the mid-1800s. I can't remember exactly what Ancestry.com research showed. I lost interest, after a while and stopped paying for it. Now, they won't show my research, unless I pay, so they can shove it. Lol

That is also an excellent question. Without Lincoln, we would probably be speaking German. I think he was doing good over all. The people that wanted to start the Federal Reserve came to him and he said, no, he wanted us to print US dollar bills. He was shot in the head, next to his wife, in public.

Pres JFK also talked about doing away with the Fed. Coincidentally, he was shot in the head, next to his wife, in public.

Reagan toyed with the idea of getting rid of the Fed. His detail happened to be loyal, so, he survived that day and quit talking about abolishing the Fed. It may help to remember that the Federal Reserve is not a branch of the government. We buy money from them and the member banks are all off-shore.

Trump and Obama are still alive because they said nothing about getting rid of the Fed.

Ahh, the un-Constitutional, Federal Reserve and the Military Industrial Complex. The Founding Fathers are spinning.

Reasonable answer, you may be right, we'll never know.

My cousin 'Lee' did an in depth family research. I looked at it years ago but dont remember in depth.

So youre Virginia a couple times removed. You know our history. It cracks me up when the Texans get all boastful about Texas history. ;) I know it pretty well, been to the Alamo and watched a good friend get baptized in the pool at San Jacinto. Virginians just dont talk about ours much.

Washington, Jefferson, Monroe, Madison, Henry (who I believe we're related to),
Merriweather Lewis and William Clark
Eight presidents
Cornwallis surrender at Yorktown
Lees surrender at Appomattox
Richmond the capital of the confederacy
A huge number of battles from both wars
Best light tobacco in the world.
Worlds largest shipyard
Etc.

Be well Mr. Lee

Why because your ideology says that this guy was some sort of savior? The guy who signed significant gun control into law and started this country try on the path of uncontrolled spending? What an amazing conservative!!
No because Biden had it before he was elected and Reagan developed it during his presidency. Are You trying to tell me Biden did as much ad Reagan? He sure had the opportunity since politics is the only thing he has done in his life.

No doubt, Reagan had his faults, but other than being two POTUS, these two have WAY more differences than common traits. Reagan did spend, mostly on defense, and he broke Soviet Russia, doing it, with minimal loss of American lives. Man, you're not going to agree with any POTUS, 100% of the time. Reagan wasn't perfect, but he was a fine President.

Reagan outspent the Ruskies and basically broke their system, dissolved the USSR.

Bidet has done more than Reagan. In the opposite direction.
