You got that right, I live just north of Dallas up by lake Texoma, occasionally we make the dreaded trip down there to work, every time they’ll have 2 new high end cars, a high dollar house and it will be completely empty, and when your done with the job, they break out The CC, lots of times it’ll take a couple to get one to clear. Blows my mind. One of the problems in Texas is that at least in Dallas the place is full of $35,000/Year Millionaires.
Basically folks driving fancy trucks (that they use as a car) that cost way too much for their paycheck, and going out to eat / party all the time, way above their income level, then finding it hard to save or afford anything but a crappy apartment (which are getting crazy expensive).
Taxes are better here than some states, at least we just have a state sales tax and then taxes on your property. Other places have that Plus a state income tax and sometimes even Plus a city income tax.
Now if we didn't have to spend 11 Billion dollars each bloody year on services to Illegal Criminal foreigners the State would be way cheaper to live in and things would be so much better.... But good luck with that, I bet they import more Criminals and up the spending till it busts the budget & the next time Democrats are in, they try to force through some new "Income Tax" to pay for it.
