Rifle Scopes How do Steiner M5 series turrets work/attach ?

Gravity.
No wait, that can't be right. It is the set screws - you adjust them to reset zero just like with other scopes.
But I will admit not being all that familiar with the M-series. They don't pay me enough to actually own one.
Our tech support team might have a more in depth answer, and they're a bit slow this time of year. Give them a ring. 888-550-6255

I just got this reply from my Steiner tech rep:

"The Steiner M5XI elevation turret cap contacts the internals of the turret at six points. First the cap rests on the center post that goes through the turret and inside the scope. Second there are two set screws that go through the cap to the center post. Third there are three posts on the underside of the turret cap that are set in three holes on the second revolution dial collar. If all the points are set in the right way the turret will track correctly."

I hope this assists :)
