I have no clue as to what forms are what and what needs to be done. I have seen mention of form 4 and form 3 but I have no idea what this stuff is.

Is there a permit you recieve or do you have to register
each individually? Is the Tax annual or a one shot deal??
Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Re: How do you go about getting one?

If you are interested in one then get with a dealer and they will explain everything you need to know. There really isn't much to it. Just a long waiting game with a little paperwork that is mostly filled out by your dealer.

Re: How do you go about getting one?

A local dealer or a dealer anywhere that sells them.
And about the 200 dollars, is that per unit or are you covered for any you buy? Once again, is it an annual tax or a one shot deal? Sorry, just looking for a little clarity.

SAW near Mesquite. They had several TBAC units in stock a few weeks ago.

$200.00 one time tax per suppressor.
You will need to find a dealer in your state. You can buy from any dealer anywhere, but they will need to be transferred to you through a dealer in your state.

Actually, Civilian ownership is not legal in Delaware (assuming that is where you are located). You might want to do a little more research and make sure I am right though.

Check this website out. There are many more just like it. I believe Tigershark is in Texas. check them out also. David at Tigershark is a really, really good guy. He will help you with everything you need to get your first can. They make a really good product.

Re: How do you go about getting one?

Thanks for the help.
As far as residence, I'll be retiring in the not too distant future. Thanks for taking the time to answer though.
This has been very informative. I'm learning quite a bit
on this site on a number of topics. The amount of information here is amazing, you do have to wade through a little BS, but compared to other places, it's extremely minor here.
