I'm going to try to run Berger 140 hybrids, and 155 hybrids in my 260 and 308. I'm trying to get a reference point to start from, and save some time and barrel life in the process.

Re: How far are you jumping Berger Hybrids?

With my 308 and the factory 5R barrel, which I cut to 22 inches and put a brake on it I found .010 off the lands 3.030 OAL for the 168gr. Hybrids. With 47.5 gr. of AA2520 loaded in Lapua Palma brass with Fed match primers velocity is 2816 FPS average. My smallest groups were .180 for 3 shots at 100 meters and .450 for 3 shots at 300 yds and 5 shots in 2 3/4 inches at 500 meters.
That load is not hot in my rifle, I have loaded the same brass 5 times already.
I took a chance and shot my first F T/R match with it and shot a 552 at 500 yds and I know I could do better.
I tried the same bullets touching the lands and as far away as .060 off the lands and the groups at 500 meters were from 5 inches to 9 inches.
Hope that helps

The good thing about the hybrids is that they are more tolerant to jumping than your regular vld round. I've jumped my 230's anywhere from .01" to where I have them now at .04" and still get phenomenal accuracy.

With the 300g Hybrids in my Lapua I have found good accuracy with .010 jump and my current load has a .040. While they can work with broad range of jump there are definite sweet spots.

I talked with Bryan at Lodi concerning the Hybrids. He said some are more sensative to jump than others are, but all are. I've shot 2 of the Hyrbids 6mm 105's and 7mm 180's. Both of them I jumped .020"
