How far will I have to travel for Long Range in WA

Re: How far will I have to travel for Long Range in WA

The Findley Cup is in Eastern WA as I recall. You can PM him at "Jim the Plumber" if I recall correctly.

BigWheels on here runs a steel match in NW WA; I shot some of the stages when I was out on a business trip and it was a lot of fun.

There's also the Steel Challenge is in Kettle Falls,WA in May and the Oregon Sniper Challenge is in June in the Portland area...There are supposed to be some upcoming matches next spring at the COSSA range east of Bend. We just had our biannual "Sniper" match at TriCounty Gun Club near Portland last weekend-we also hold a monthly Practical Rifle and Tactical match at TriCounty.

I shot with you at the Black Hat match. FYI there's a very good 3 day long-range tactical rifle match that's held in British Columbia, just across the line in a place called Chilliwack - you missed it this year, but it's usually held at the end of June/beginning of July: http://www.bctacticalrifle.com/www.bctacticalrifle.com/Home.html. The guys who run it put on a very challenging match. Chilliwack is about a 3.5 hour drive from Bremerton.

Also another good club to check out in NW WA is the Custer Sportsmans Club. They run a great action rifle match every month.

Thanks for the info, would be great to get involved in some Tactical Rifle matches in the Western Washington, I shot IPSC for years, but hung it up when the Shelton was the last club to shoot three gun and got shut down.

Is that the club on Whidbey Island? I know they do bowling pin. If you're into steel, bianchi, bowling pin, IDPA/IPSC, action rifle etc. Custer is the club. They have well attended matches running every weekend.
