How fits a Badger M5 DBM to a Rem 700 SA?

Hi all,

I am currently in progress on building my mil spec M40A5. Here's what's confusing for me with the Badger magazine kit:

GAP says they are using a Badger M5 DBM (http://www.gaprecision.net/mil-spec-rifles/m40a5.html). Based on the information from the Badger website this shouldn't fit to a short action system! Look here: http://badgerordnance.com/triggerguards/

Is it possible that this is just a typo on the GAP site and in fact it's a Badger M5 BDM SA instead of a DBM?

Thanks for your help!

Regards,
Uwe

Here's my question, why would they make a DBM for a short action if it doesn't fit? Are you looking at the right one?

Are you looking at the M24 M5 DBM triggerguard, which is a DBM triggerguard for the Army M24 long action 308. The M5 DBM is for the short action 700, third one down on the Badger triggerguard page you have listed.

I've learned from google also, that the M24 uses a LA .308. Anyways, this is a typo on the GAP page, since its not a DBM its a BDM.

Thanks guys! Now I know what I need to look for.

Have a good day,
Uwe
