How long can Manchin hold out?

He's being attacked by his own side, getting a dose of what it feels like to be a conservative republican.

His wife has already been given a 6-figure 'job'. Who knows what else they've raked in?

And, after all, he IS a democrat, so not to be trusted. Does he actually have principles, or is he holding out for a bigger payoff?

Never forget the "nobody needs more than 3 rounds to deer hunt" era Joe Manchin. Joe learned and understands the contract with WV so far since then. HOWEVER, he would throw the whole state under the bus for a run at the office of POTUS. He needs to be smart enough to realize he will be left behind at the bus stop himself if he goes along with it. He has to play the game with us, and I think he is smart enough to realize the Dems would use him and spit him out as fast as baseball card bubble gum given the chance.

He already got his wife a sweet job.

Must be looking for a cabinet post or something to secure the family long term.

That price will be met and he will fold.

This is too crucial to the Communists.

I remember when Obama was pushing gun control after Newtown he was the swing vote.

He told his states gun rights leader he didn't have to worry about elections there were not going to be anymore.

I think he was early in believing that......Trump fucked it up but they figured out the ratios....sort of.

If you like what he is doing, send him a check. If you think he is a two-face lying conniving swap thing, but you appreciate that he breaks party line once in a while for his own fame and glory, the side effect of which is a set-back to the socialist agenda, send him a check. Yes it is probably a lost cause in the long run, but, if you were training a dog would you not give him a treat for doing something right?

Joe knows what West Virginia voters will let him get away with and isn't going to cross that line until he doesn't want to be a Senator anymore.

Can't believe WV voted in a rabid dog that is threatening to bite them but they trust him as long as he plays nice.

Me neither. The local media destroyed AG Morrisey and he has done incredible things for WV as far as keeping EPA overreach out and fighting for gun laws (Constitutional Carry, CHL reciprocity, etc). They transposed Joe's ties to big Pharma via his daughter (CEO of Milan Pharmaceuticals even after having WVU REVOKE her degrees due to her not even having gone to classes. She made large $$$ working in the basement of the building while even in school). Morrisey's wife was a lawyer who worked on lobbying for Pharmaceutical companies. They lied and acted like he was personally responsible for the Opioid crsisis in the state through marriage... The idiots in our liberal cities bought it hook, line, and sinker..... Milan has given over $3 Million to the good senator's campaigns.

Manchin knows his constituents and they are NOT, for the most part, pathetic socialist progressives. He doesn't give a flying fuck about some "squad" bitches in the House. He's a fucking Senator and he is representing the W VA electorate appropriately.

So...just what fucking pressure can they bring? You think the Dems are going to try to find a primary candidate to run against him....with essentially zero majority margin in the Senate? I don't think so. Even Schumer isn't that stupid.

If he offered the people a lifetime of free hookups to prescription painkillers, the people of WV would vote for him each election cycle.
I think he did that already but they shut it down not to long ago, get everyone high you can pretty much do what you want with the sheep.

Our Attorney General is demanding an investigation of the DEA and their role in the drug crisis.

Joe and Shelly are representing WV well, even to the point I'm proud of them both. I just hope Joe stays strong.
Some ridiculous poll claims 71% of West Virginians support the For the People Act. Thats very poor polling, and I'm sure Joe knows better.

Hopefully, I can recall Obama claiming that level of support for his gun control agenda. Meanwhile record gun sales. If thats not a clue he was elected by fraud......Especially looking at his second term. Nobody I know who voted for him the first time, voted for him the second time.

Ps.......

A certain fuckstain will be a long shortly to tell us Manchin is salt of the earth a savior of the Republic.

Don't need to. He said it perfectly.

I don’t trust him and really never have. Maybe a lot of West Virginians are writing him. I send him an email just about every week, rarely get a response. He’s just as slimy as the rest of them, doesn’t matter if there’s an R or a D behind the name.

It all depends how much money the Democrats are willing to give his state.
