Any idea how long it will take Remington to get the rifles back in stock at the stores? Want to buy a 700 sps Varmint 308as the start for a new LRI build.

Did they not send them back? I was in and out of stores all day yesterday and didn't see a single one
Didn't ask if they sent them back or not...but they are the only place I've been lately that has 700s on the shelf.
Just buy a tikka T3 and be happy 
or put some money down with eurooptic for one of the new Tikka CTR's

Im impatient, I had one from Gunbroker within a couple days. Probably hasn't had the trigger replaced, but that doesnt particularly bother me.

I am in the same place Jerry. I think I am just going to get an older used 700 and build what I want.
Their hanging all over the wall at my local FFL. I just bought another 24" 5R in .308 due to price. They obviously had no idea of what it was, but when I saw a SS 700 with heavy brrl hanging there I looked down the tube, and sure enough 5R. When he got the box it also said 1/11.25 Milspec 5R rifling. For $775.. I ran out with it
