3 so far, 1 for me. Not hard when I can spin on a prefit and screw it into a chassis, haha.

three, sort of. i bought all the components (tl3 & proof carbon prefit & krg bravo) from one place and they did the assembly (6.5 prc). 2nd i bought a tikka t3x lite and sent it and the proof carbon prefitbarrel out to have that installed (6.5 creed). third i finally did it all myself, bought another tikka and swapped the barrel out with a proof carbon prefit (300wsm).

the whole prefit thing is a total gamechanger. making bolt guns pretty much as easy and fun as AR's to assemble and swap stuff around.

Can it really be considered that you "built" a rifle-- when you just screw a few parts together?

Wasn't trying to be a dick.... just my opinion that assembling doesn't equal building. My table was delivered without the legs on so that it could fit through the door- and each had to be bolted on- so now I'm a carpenter?

In any case- my goal for this year is to shoot the ones I have more, and not acquire another one to go in the back of the safe.

    I built 2 rifles , built 2 houses also .

Built is the correct word , fact over opinion for the win.

2022 is the year of getting suppressors for all of my current rifles though.

People are still using bolt action rifles? Is that the thing you have to fiddle with every time you want to make your gun go boom again?

    Must be a nostalgia thing.

I would consider it build if I just collected parts and screwed them together.

By the time I cut threads, cut chamber, headspace, make pillars, and glass bed.... I have taken it apart and put it together 50 times.
