They cost less than McMillan stocks, but take more work.
Here I am epoxying a wooden plug in the butt of the stock, so I can screw the recoil pad into the wood.
Here is a 7mmMag rifle made with one of those stocks that weighs 9 pounds with scope and sling.
You can work you ass off building a light rifle, and then be disappointed when you compare it to a Kimber:
