I work during the day, so getting out once a week is a real accomplishment, since I also have to do chores and such on Saturdays. Lately, it's been once or twice a month that I've been able to shoot at all. Always take my mini stick, but I need to go more if I'm ever going to actually get better with it.
I've been making it out once a week on average for 3-500 rds spread between the CZ Kadet and my two CZ rifles. Scheduling range time with a friend has helped make it a priority. He calls me, I call him, we both shoot more.
i try to make it once a week, but life and depending on hunting season sometimes restricts it to once every 2 weeks. i try to get 100 to 150 rounds in each trip.
ironically, i've spent more time and trips to the range over the last few months making range upgrades / repairs than actually shooting there.
Between stray cats squirrels rabbits and a black bird here and there I stay rather busy at work and at home. 1-5 shot daily during the week and a few hundred over the weekend.
Once every BLUE MOON...as in, if I ever find time to get out of this wretched city, in a place where I'm allowed to shoot, and the stars align that make me not want to shoot my AR or .308 in favor of the .22lr.
Once, a week, during the summer months.
Every Sunday, rain or shine myself and my boys (8 & 11) are up at 7AM and off to the range, about a 1hr drive.
Yesterday (Fathers Day) we went with a friend and between the .22's, .303 Enfield, 1911 and CZ75 we didn't get home till 3:30PM, just in time for the wife to fire up the barbecue.
Great to be a father

The same for me. I scored a S&W M&P15/22 for my daughter for her 10th B-Day, so now it's a couple times a month.
Maybe once a month. My range time is limited lately by home/family responsibilities and basic health issues.
While I think we can agree that once a month is probably certainly not enough, I might suggest that no specific frequency is ever likely to be ideal. There is very probably no .22LR practice regimen that can't be improved by more frequent employment.
There is no substitute for trigger time. Ya just gotta do it. Using something more costly than the .22LR is not cost effective, IMHO.
I have been going out every Friday and putting about 200 rounds down range with my 22 rifle. I put up a 6 inch round steel plate at 50 yards and I shoot standing, kneeling and sitting.
I'd prefer to shoot at least once a week, but lately it's been averaging once a month. Usually put about 100 rounds through the 22LR (Sav. Mk II TR) and about 50 through the .223 (Sav. 12 BGTV).
Well for me seems like more and more here lately not been able to make the matches I normally shoot in the last three months. But have recevied my 22 can and got my MKIII savage threaded and putting quiet rounds down range.

This thing, a Vortex Strikefire and some handgun steel will keep you busy for awhile...video game like.
I shoot my .22s, suppressed, with subsonic ammo every time I go to the range...it's just too damn much fun!
Try to get out and shoot the long guns at least twice a month. But lately uspsa once a month and 3 gun once a month have made the other 2 weekends a month harder to sneak away from the wifes honey do list!
I shoot once or twice a month currently and usually try to take a different rifle each time, so my M&P15-22 doesn't always make it. That's about to change considering my kids have just started training with it. I'm looking to get a 2nd 22LR now. My go-to range charges per gun or per person which ever is higher so I tend to limit what I take with me. I envy those of you who can shot right outside in your backyard.
My wife shoots only .22 a walther and a ruger 10/22 every week. Shooting with her has renewed my love for the rimfire so, i typically take my single six to the range with her once a week.
1-2 times a week...big backyard..=fun! LR .22 Kidd custom from Texas...hard to miss ...the squirrel's hate my yard!! Lol too much fun and cheap...great trigger on it so it keeps me in tune for other rifles/pistols...good shootin
