I have a pair of ripstop, od green bdu trousers. They are ripstop, but are NOT double knee, and do not have the reinforced seat. Also they have a brass zipper fly, not button fly. I assume they are gen 1 bdu? When were these issue? otherwise the pocket layout is standard bdu of the woodland camo era of uniform, 6 pockets and all.

Thanks,
Tres

I dunno but I think I was one of the last to wear "pickle suits" before the Army went all woodland cammo in '87.
Pre-'87! That's my guess

you aged yourself! Ha!

I can remember as a little kid guys out working in their mil.surplus pickle suits on the farm, on vehicles- cheap clothes!
I remember them on the racks at the (dad can we go, PLEASE!) surplus stores.

Funny.
