I have just recently purchased a pvs14. I’m just wondering how sensitive they are to getting light burns on the tubes. Last night I was outside and there’s a ton of snow with a lot of moonlight. Also like street lights at distance.

Also when using with a laser. 50 yards plus.
Does it matter if it’s a regular laser vs an IR.

just seeing if I am being over sensitive

Just don't literally stare at a light source and not move for a long period of time. It's kind of like how your TV can run a screensaver logo on it basically forever with no damage, yet if you leave a paused picture on it for a few days it may end up burning parts of that picture into the screen.

Same idea.

Alot of light damage comes from people leaving their units on and forgetting they sat them somewhere.
