I'm loading some .223 with 77 smk's. The manual states that TAC gets the best velocity, but, I don't want a huge variance with temp. What are you experiencing? How dirty is it etc?

My experience with TAC is that it is <span style="font-style: italic">very</span> clean and relatively temperature stable, but I only have limited experience with it (about 200 rounds). I load it behind 69 grainers in my 24" Varminter and haven't noticed any dramatic changes in POI or group size with temps from 90 degrees F down to 34. I'll be doing some coyote hunting in a couple weeks, so I may find out how it does in <span style="font-style: italic">very</span> cold temps...
