how to attach rail under B&C A2

If I'm not mistaken the B&C A2 has a slot under where you can 'slide' things in.

I believe you can attach a rail adapater for it?

can someone link me to one? I'd like to buy one. I want to attach my bipod, which is a railed bipod.

I'm not too sure about the slot thing under, just what I heard. the stock comes in on Wednesday so... I wanted to have it ready for when it came here

someone says 'kasey' makes a rail adapter that just slides in. but I can't find anything called that...

I just got an A2 last week for my SPS Tactical. Unfortunately all it has on the front is two slings studs unless I'm missing something.

Yea, my A5 has that rail but I use a Harris bipod. Look up Accu-shot.com, they have a 3.35 or 4" piece of rail you can add to the forearm. Not exactly sure if thats what you're looking for.

Seems like you can mount it on a swivel stud some how or screw it in with their buttonhead screws to the forearm. Some one on here must know how they work... hope you get some answers.

Seekins offers rails that work for both the HS spacing and McMillan spacing. Maybe he will know if the B&C matches up with one of those and you could use his rail.

The B&Cs tend to use an "Anschutz" style rail. These rails come in two widths; "european" or American. I don't remember which is the wider. There are a variety of rail adapters which allow mating with Harris, GG&G and Atlas Bipods. GG&G has several and are a particularly good source of advice. Midway and Brownell also have carried slot adaptors.

I think a call to Kasey would be a good start, perhaps with another to GG&G.

I mounted a GG&G on a medalist build: worked fine

apparently 2 inch for HS, 3 for mcmillan. I'll measure it when the stock gets here, it's coming a day early, which is today. WOOT

I would highly recommend the Seekins Rail.... and for that matter their rings too.....and pretty much anything they make!

I put the seekins rail on my B&C A2 a couple of weeks ago....no problems, just unscrew the sling studs and torque down the rail mounting screws

I use the BT17 on my B&C A2. I'm gonna have to get a Seekins SRS for my other one. The Seekins has a cleaner look.
