I've got 10 of the new production ASC 6.5 Grendel Mags that I'm using for a 6mm Fat Rat build. These are the standard 20 round .223 body mags that are advertised as 17 round 6.5 Grendel mags. I'm wondering what the proper way to go about increasing capacity is as they only hold 11 rounds if you want them to function. You can put in up to 13 rounds but the first two will nose dive into the front of the mag. At 11 loaded rounds they will feed fine.
Has anyone anyone addressed this issue? I wasn't sure if I need to trim the spring or the follower or both and I didn't want to start hacking if someone had already figured it all out. I'd be super happy with 15 rounds and 100% reliability.
