How to get banned from a Fudd range

Boy, I remember those days, can't afford that now. I only did it to make sure my (fill in blank here) ran. Oh, wait... that was before my boating accident I had on one of the Great Lakes! Mac;)

All I want to see is the target. If he is just dumping the mag and hitting nothing then he's just a another tard.

If he is fast and getting hits and has a reason then carry on... maybe he runs all of 3G and smoked the target???

My range my rules. Your range your rules.

I was visiting my Son in the Dallas area and he took me to some range there. I was shooting his Ar that had a thirty round mag and started popping them off like that. When I was finished my Son was all excited telling me that I can't do that they will kick us out. I did tell him he did good moving to a Communist state.
All most all the rounds I fired hit the paper.

My range (private club) the rule is aimed fire only. You can shoot as fast as you want, but you have to be able to require the target between rounds. As long as you are doing that, go as fast as you want...

What are you requiring from your targets?I asked mine to only show touching shots once, but it didn’t listen.

My private range on the ranch I shoot on doesn't require shit.

Remember as kids cutting loose on flying buzzards with .22s and never hitting them, blasting squirrels and songbirds out of trees or throwing and shooting at bottles in the air?

Karen requirements suck.

My private club in CT allows draw from holster, class 3, but draws the line at .50 cal - gotta have a suppressor on the .50 cal. Keep the rounds in the berm, and all is well

i emailed the board of directors at my club and asked if i could use my grenade launcher.

they emailed me back and said "please do not use your grenade launcher on our ranges"

i got a second email 20 minutes later saying, "the board has discussed the matter further, and we have come to the conclusion that you CAN in fact use your grenade launcher, please send us some videos because we really want to see that.....also please be courteous to other shooters"

The range I bulldozed, dynamited and built on a ranch outside of Austin in the 80's allowed everything if you had the paperwork, including a guy that brought out a remote controlled airplane that dive bombed the place as people lined up on the firing line and unloaded at it with everything, like something out of the Battle of Midway, and I mean everything, ARs, AKs and one guy with a FA Colt Commando. What berm?

We also held monthly IPSC matches, the Steel Challenge which of course were closely monitored as well as carbine and pistol classes including shooting from a moving vehicle. Some old military collectors would come out and shoot their German and Japanese FA belt feds and there were some cannon shoots.

It was where you went to learn just how badass a combat tuned 1911 in the right hands was.

People that shot other peoples targets, intentionally shot up the target frames or were general unsafe fuckups were banned. In fact, the owner liked to brag he ran off enough dumbfucks to keep the other public ranges open.

Elmer Fudd Rangemaster however would not have been a good fit there.

I got chewed out at my range one time for doing this exact same thing. Said I was not in control of my firearm during each shot. I was told that there had to be a distinct pause between shots. No less than 1 second but they would like 5 seconds. That was the last time I visited that range for that shooting season. I lasted another 2 years and then gave up my range badge.

When I was a kid sighting in my .243 in on a public range before deer season. RO Fudd in overalls was going up and down the firing line bothering people trying to shoot. I left my hand on top of my scope when I shot, knowing it would attract his attention.
It worked. He came running up and asked "Are you going to have your hand up there when you shoot a deer?" I answered "Yes." He blinked at me and stammered "Well, you're not supposed too!"

I told him, "So there's a right and wrong way to shoot a deer? I paid my range fee. Get the fuck away from me."

I don't know why, after 30 yrs. this trivial crap takes up storage space in my mental hard drive. Maybe I can send it to the trash now.
